HANDMADE HAMMOCKS
CRAFTED WITH LOVE
AND CARE

Our story

KŌZZI was born amongst the peaceful lands of Alentejo – Portugal, where Samy & Shani met each other and had a call to co-create designs that combine beauty and comfort. By connecting the Latin American craftsmanship with the local Portuguese flair and their cultural backgrounds, the spirit of KŌZZI hammocks came to life.

KŌZZI IS A CONSCIOUS BRAND AND OUR PRODUCTS
ARE MADE WITH CARE AND LOVE FOR OUR PLANET

Our hammocks

The Hammock net is hand made in Guatemala by a collective of women weavers, using organic cotton and keeping the weaving tradition alive. The decoration of the hammocks is done in Portugal with locally sourced organic cotton. Each piece is unique and designed to promote well- being.

IN THE ANCIENT WAYS THE INDIGENOUS SOUTH
AMERICAN PEOPLE CALLED THE HAMMOCKS
“THE CRADLE OF THE GODS”

Some facts

Hammocks were originally made from the bark of the Hamak tree and hence the name. Seen as an extremely comfortable and clean way to sleep and rest, they were brought to Europe by Columbus and since then became popular in the west among sailors and traders.

WE THRIVE ON AUTHENTICITY AND ON THE
NATURAL FLOW OF OUR CULTURAL DIVERSITY
